    • A typical home consultation requires approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

    • A 3,000+ square foot home consultation may require approximately 2 hours.

  • • Our FREE home consultation will allow us to determine which sale option will best fit your needs.

    • 65% of net sale profit for the Client.

    • 35% of net sale profit for Argonne Hall Estate Sales.

    • Please note: We require a $75 security deposit check in order to reserve your estate sale weekend. We do NOT deduct this amount from your account unless for specific reason(s). For example, but not limited to; you decide to cancel the signed contract.

    • If we do not need to deduct the security deposit amount after the estate sale weekend, then we will mail this back to you for you to dispose of.

  • • An On-Site Estate Sale is perfect for an individual or family needing to sell a large portion of the items in the home, a.k.a “Estate Liquidation”.

    • An On-Site Estate Sale will be run by our experienced Sale Managers and Sale Associates.

    • Our team will have all of the tools necessary to conduct a successful sale.

    • We can process credit, debit, personal checks, and take cash payments.

  • • An On-Site Downsizing Sale is perfect for an individual or family needing to sell a small portion of the items in order to move into a smaller home.

    • An On-Site Downsizing Sale will be run by our experienced Sale Managers and Sale Associates.

    • Our team will have all of the tools necessary to conduct a successful sale.

    • We can process credit, debit, personal checks, and take cash payments.

  • • We have a dedicated team who handles all of the logistics: home staging, supplies, photography, advertising, product research, pricing, and conducting the sale process.

    • All you need to do is remove the items you intend to keep and leave everything else where it is for us to stage, price, and sell!

  • • Please do not donate household items, leave it for us to sell! What you consider “trash” may be someone else’s treasure!

    • Please remove all documentation with personal or confidential information and family photos.

    • We kindly ask that you remove, store, or clearly mark all items that are not intended for sale prior to the consultation, photography, marketing, staging process and/or the sale weekend.

    • If needed, we request that you lightly vacuum, dust, and wipe down high touch surfaces. Also please remove general trash, expired or opened food, clean up pet litter pans and/or remove used personal hygiene products.

    • All of these steps will help enhance your estate sale!

  • • The duration can depend on the size of the home and the amount of contents on your estate.

    • We typically aim to have 2-4 weeks of lead time to maximize the advertisements and the home staging process.

    • During the time leading up to the sale our team will be photographing, staging, researching the items and pricing accordingly.

    • Our on-site estate sales range from 1-3 days.

  • • Yes, we are both licensed (LLC) and insured with a general liability policy! We are happy to show you a current policy certificate at the free on-site consultation.

    • Since we are licensed to operate in Virginia, we are also required to collect and distribute sales tax.

    • Do not worry, sales tax collected does not affect your percentage. Sales tax is paid by our customers who shop at our estate sales.

    • We will forward that payment onto the state/county!

    • On the sale days, yard signs will direct the flow of traffic to the sale.

  • • On the last day of the estate sale, our team will pack up and remove all of our supplies from the property.

    • We ensure that the property is secure and leave the spare key inside the home. We will notify you where we left the spare key and when we have left the property.

    • Typically the next business day, we will be preparing your final report and calculating your proceeds check.

    • An example of the final report will be available during the free on-site consultation.

    • We mail your proceeds check and final report via USPS certified mail, so you will receive a tracking number and estimated delivery date.

    • Lastly, we always invite our Clients and Customers to leave us a review on our Google Business Page!
